The first Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q restaurant opened next to a pre-World War II movie theater in downtown Smithfield, NC, in 1964. Since then, we have grown to become the largest bar-b-q restaurant in North Carolina serving vinegar-based Eastern-North-Carolina-style bar-b-q, fried chicken, Brunswick stew, potato salad, cole slaw, hushpuppies and sweet tea in more than 30 locations.

And now we’re bringing that same traditional taste of Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q to you anywhere in the nation.

Just place your order here on weshipbarbq.com. All our bar-b-q is hand-pulled and made from scratch with the freshest ingredients from an old family recipe prior to shipping. First we cool the bar-b-q and vacuum-seal your order to lock in the freshness. We then seal it in an insulated cooler filled with cold packs. Then we ship it directly to you anywhere in the continental United States via priority mail. The only thing simpler than ordering our bar-b-q is eating it!
